Description

Causes & Symptoms for Natrum Arsenicosum

• Natrum Arsenicicum has marked action on runny nose. Watery discharge from nose drops into the throat. Feels obstructed. Pain at the root of the nose. There are dry crusts in the nose which when removed leaves the mucus membrane raw. There is also post nasal dropping of thick, bland, yellowish mucus.
• Natrum Arsenicicum also helps in eye affections like sore eyes due to catarrhal conjunctivitis. Eyes feels weak and painful. There is tendency of drooping eyes lids, with stiffness of eye balls. Lachrymation on exposure to wind. Eye lids stick together in morning. Eyes are swollen with pain around eyes. Eyes are dry and painful with burning and easily tired.
• Natrum Arsenicicum is also useful in headache with floating sensation on turning head quickly. Pain in frontal region, at the root of the nose and around eyes. Headache is worse on pressurea and from tobacco smoke.
• Natrum Arsenicicum is also indicated in bronchitis and Miner’s asthma. Racking cough with greenish expectoration. There is a sensation as if smoke has been inhaled.

Head

Natrum Arsenicicum is indicated in complaint of Floating sensation on turning head quickly; relieves aching in frontal region and root of nose, over orbits. Headache; worse pressure and tobacco smoke.

Nose

Natrum Arsenicicum is useful in Watery discharge; drops into throat. Feels stopped; pain at root.

Dry crusts, on removal, leave mucous membrane raw indicates Natrum Arsenicicum.

It is well indicated in Post-nasal dropping of thick, bland, yellowish mucus, Crusts in nose.

Ears

Natrum Arsenicicum is useful in Catarrhal conjunctivitis, Eyes feel weak, stiffness of balls and tendency of lids to close, Feel heavy and droop, Lachrymation in wind, Agglutination in morning.

Throat

Dark, purplish, swollen, œdematous; red and glassy.

Respiratory

Natrum Arsenicicum is very useful in complaint of Racking cough, with profuse greenish expectoration.

There is Oppression of chest and about heart, and also larynx. Lungs feel as though smoke had been inhaled.
